Everything is perfectly fine at my internship. Nothing could be bad about it. There is much for me to do that I honestly don’t mind doing, no matter how gross. I find everything there to be as it should.I have never gotten upset with my supervisors and I plan never to. I always want to be at my internship. The supervisors there are extremely chill and always giving me things to do. They are impressed with the fact that I am always asking if there is anything else to do. And another thing I do is clean every piece of equipment. I have never had any difficulties with the tasks or jobs assigned to me, I do them all without question. I never get frustrated with the tasks at hand.

On a typical day at my internship I clean all the equipment, I vacuum the carpet and sweep the leaves. I run errands for my supervisors and help run the front desk. The person who assigned me the tasks is one of my supervisors, Tedd Shelton. Tedd is one of my three supervisors and is also my boxing coach. When he tells me or asks me to do something, I do it immediately, no arguing. For any errands they give me, I go all over the Bethesda area for food or inventory. Or sometimes just a run when I’m done working. There is no checkout drill, but there is a check in drill. You just scan you key card and your membership info appears on a computer screen. I enjoy dusting off the equipment more than mopping the boxing ring or cleaning the mirrors. Once, I had to run the front desk for my supervisor while he was on his lunch break. I had to make sure everyone was signed in properly and I had to take calls fro m members and people wanting to take a free class. Sometimes after I’m done cleaning, Tedd or Jean will take me out into the neighbor hood for lunch. It’s a well earned privilege. The equipment they have includes: bench press, pull up and back worker and free weights along with treadmills and elliptical bikes. There are heavy bags and light bags for kicking and punching. They have typical workout routines for clients that want to get in shape. They do push ups, pull ups, running, and boxing techniques. This an average day for them.

The people at my internship are incredibly pleasant to be around. Their titles are personal trainers and professional fighters. There is no chain of authority except for the owners. I do not observe any different behavior among employees because everyone has equal authority. They are all very nice to me and I love working there. Three of the fighters or trainers there are Nuwan Jayakodi from Sri Lanka, India. King, from Nigeria. And Obadiah Sai, from Barbados. My Internship is at UFC(Ultimate Fighting Championship) Bethesda. It is on Cordell Ave, Bethesda. The people who work here are either former pro fighters or current pro fighters. There appearances are extremely fit and in good shape.
